Acupuncture: A holistic approach with a point prescription tailored to treat your symptoms and address the underlying causes, If you are trying it for the first time the smallest needles will be used to ensure your comfort. Acupressure massage can be used instead if you prefer not to have needles. Stronger dry-needling can also be used to release stubborn tight muscles.
Massage therapies: Remedial (Western and Chinese), relaxation, sports- pre and post-event and injury management, pregnancy-pre and post-natal, abdominal, facial, sinus, ear drainage and jaw release (external and internal) Amrit's style is also influenced by Zen Thai Shiatsu, the Hawian kahuna and lomi lomi, qi gong, cranio-sacral and anthroposophical rhythmical massage. During her studies she was trained by Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists and Acupuncturists specialising in musculoskeletal assessment and treatment, to use advanced techniques for effective results, which she has continued to develop over 15 years of clinical practice.
Additional therapies: Reflexology, lymphatic drainage– German and Australian styles, triggerpoint therapy, myofascial release-active and passive, joint mobilisations, corrective exercises, assisted stretches, guided breathing, body scan meditation and energy balancing. Amrit's energy balancing is influenced by Acuenergetics, Healing touch and Japanese Reiki.
Chinese techniques: Cupping, gua sha, electro-acupuncture, ear acupuncture and acupressure seeds, herbal liniments.
Heat therapies: Moxibustion, infra-red heat lamp therapy, hot stone therapy.
